I am working on my second monograph on the Summer Olympics in Los Angeles in 1984 and their role in the remaking of America in Reagan’s image.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and extenuating circumstances, I had to pause my research project on West Germany’s seemingly contradictory role in the US-led boycott of the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow while simultaneously increasing its oil and gas trade with the Soviet Union. To be resumed!
